When it comes to deciding whether or not to opt for LASIK, there are a lot of factors to consider. In addition to the rather obvious concerns related to cost, many people continue to have apprehension and fear about opting for the popular surgery. This even though it’s been proven to be incredibly safe and effective time and time again.
I wrote a blog article last year in which I tried to address some of the common fears associated with LASIK, and why you shouldn’t let them stop you from treatment. In that article I addressed things like recovery time, risk screening and patient experiences. The article was well-received, so when I came across the video below the other day, I thought it would be perfect to share with you. It’s a short video addressing the top 10 LASIK myths that was put together by famed LASIK surgeon, Ceatus client and personal friend Dr. Brian S. Boxer Wachler of the Boxer Wachler Vision Institute in Los Angeles.
Dr. Wachler is a highly experienced, board-certified ophthalmologist often referred to as “America’s TV Eye Doctor.” He is world-renowned in the field of keratoconus treatment and laser eye surgery and has a who’s who client list of famous names including Dr. Phil, Tony Curtis, Lucy Liu, Seal and more. So who better to help continue our efforts to dispel any concerns and fears that you might still have with regard to LASIK surgery.
